High densiy polyethyiene (HDPE) is a white powder or granular product. HDPE is nontoxic and odoress, wth a cnystainy of 80% to 90% and a sotening point of125°c to 135°c, and can be used at temperatures up to 100°c. It offers superior hardness, tensie strength, and creep resistance compared with the lowdensilypoyethyiene. HDPE also exhibits excelent wear resisitance, electrical insulafon, toughness, and cold resistance. Wth is strong chemical stabity, it remains insoluble inany organic sovent at room temperatures, and is resistant to the corrosion of the acid, akal and varous sats. HDpE flms have low pemeabily to water vapor andair, as well as low water absorption.
